Gregg Valentino’s story,

                Greg Valentino is a very interesting man with a disturbing past that follows him around everywhere he goes. Gregg was born on August 5^th 1960; he grew up in the Bronx and Yorktown heights, Westchester New York. Growing up Gregg played many sports but he was much smaller than the kids he played against which made him work twice as hard as they had to. Gregg stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and decided to move away from competitive team sports and turn to body building in his late teens. Gregg told himself what he lacked in height he would make up for in width meaning he would make himself put on as much muscle as possible. In his early twenties Gregg was slowly increasing the amount of weight he was able to lift when he noticed that his competition was excelling at a much quicker rate than he was. Gregg who had never drank alcohol in his life or done any type of drugs decided to keep up with his competition he would have to take steroids. Gregg soon found that he loved taking steroids and began abusing them on a regular basis. Gregg was at one point taking 5 times the amount a person should take who is prescribed testosterone for low testosterone deficiency. He also began distributing AAS drugs and his life began to take a turn for the worst. Gregg stopped body building and took so many steroids that his biceps became the biggest in the world. At 27 and 1/6 inches around his biceps became his life but not for long. One day Gregg used a dirty needle to inject steroids directly into his bicep and soon after his biceps became infected. Instead of going straight to the hospital Gregg tried releasing the puss in his bicep which lead to an enormous amount of blood loss. Gregg eventually went to the hospital but almost died that day. When Gregg was 40 years old he was arrested to distributing steroids and was locked up in jail. His marriage ended and his wife took his kids who now refuse to talk to him. He lost his gym which he owned and is now basically left with nothing. Steroids destroyed Gregg’s life but he is still an advocate for steroid use. Steroids not only physically harm you but mentally change the way you live your life without you even knowing it.
